When one thinks of exotic locales in Scuba Diving, Kauai comes to mind. With its exotic surroundings this tropical paradise also has some gems that are hidden beneath the ocean. The island has many beautiful and diverse dives teeming with tons of different species of marine life, that range from smaller yet highly colorful life to of course larger animals like sharks and even humpback whales. Some of the deeper more advanced dives on the island for example there is Brennekes Ledge where the site goes all the way down to 100 ft of water. The site is packed with marine life like gray reef sharks, humpback whales, giant tuna just to name a few of the denizens in this particular dive site. This site is a very advanced site as the current can go from non existent to extremely rough. Another interesting site around the island is an area called Turtle Bluff, naturally as the name states you do see a good deal of turtles but there are other species such as as the Hawaiian Morwong and the white tip reef shark, just to name a few others. These two sites are only two of the many in Kaui.
