We’ve all seen the crystal blue images on direct TV of the Hawaiian depths and beautiful sea lifewhy not plan your own diving trip soon? Here are a few of the best places to check out once you get on that plane and head to Hawaii
Kauai: Yes, the entire island. Nowhere in the state will you find a bigger assortment of wildlife and great dive spots and if you like privacy, this is the island retreat for you.
Molokini: A tiny island off the west coast of Maui makes for a great diving day but you’ve got to get on a ferry to make your way out there. You can secure a spot for only a couple hundred dollars and most outfits allow you rent equipment for the day, too.
Kona Coast: Off the west coast of the Big Island you’ll find some of the best SCUBA in Hawaii with such a steep drop off the coast. The water is cold so you’ll need a wetsuit but you’d be hard pressed to find better sea life to explore.

Hawaii offers many awsome underwater experiences for all scuba divers, no matter what their educational level. Many organized Hawaiian scuba dives are created specifically to experience a particular life form. These dives include shark adventures and night diving with sting rays.

Life forms encountered while diving off Hawaii’s many islands provide opportunities to see a multitude of aquatic life forms, but turtles are the most plentiful, particularly the green sea turtle. Turtles can be encountered at shallow depths, from surface to fifty feet, as can the majority of other animals.

Sharks, mostly the docile white-tipped reef shark, are common in Hawaii, but beware the highly agressive tiger shark, who may also make an appearance! Fortunately, many divers will never see sharks and most shark encounters are completely harmless, although fun and exciting.

Other forms of life to see in Hawaiian waters include monk seals, octopus, dolphins, several types of eels, and a wide assortment of fish. Some of the most popular are the many and varied angelfish species.

Between the months of December and May, majestic humpback whales make the Hawaiian Islands home. Mating and giving birth may occur during their stay. Sting rays, manta rays and spotted eagle rays are an exciting life form to be viewed in Hawaii, year-round.

The top rated diving masks on the market are the ones chosen by the most users. A diving mask does not have to be expensive to be top rated, but it does need to be a good quality diving mask. The best mask is the one that fits within your budget and also improves your diving experiences.

One of the top rated diving masks is one that has a standard two-lens design. This type of diving mask is a great choice for those whose eyes need extra help to see, like corrective lenses. This mask also gives the user a bigger field of view. It was rated top quality by users for the lens quality and field of vision.

Another choice is a mask that has the lenses angled downward. These lenses give the user an expanded view, especially downward. They are lightweight, and don’t fog up like some other models. This diving mask was top rated on the market because of its unique lens and how lightweight they feel when wearing.

A top rated diving masks is any masks that makes you feel confident when you are diving. One user may prefer one model, but you may prefer another.

If you have spent the last year planning the trip of a lifetime you better research every aspect. Diving off the coast of Hawaii is a must for any tourist. A diving suit will save your life, so the quality of the company that makes it must be verified. This article will give you the ten best diving suit brands available so choose wisely.
A slight temperature difference is all it takes to take warmth from your body. The best way to protect you is with neoprene. There are many brands to choose from like the Action Plus Bahia 1mm Jumpsuit that would protect you from abrasion. There are products like the Body Glove 1296 .5mm Insotherm Jumpsuit or Oceanic .5mm Cyberskin may have thinner fabric, but offer comparable protection. Yet the diving world has more to offer like the Mares Revolution 1mm Full Suit that would protect your arms and legs. The Henderson Microprene 1mm jumpsuit is made of an innovative fabric that will keep your body temperature up. In warm tropical waters it is important to keep your body covered when diving into the deep. Proper planning will make diving great for all your travelling companions in Hawaii.

When one thinks of exotic locales in Scuba Diving, Kauai comes to mind. With its exotic surroundings this tropical paradise also has some gems that are hidden beneath the ocean. The island has many beautiful and diverse dives teeming with tons of different species of marine life, that range from smaller yet highly colorful life to of course larger animals like sharks and even humpback whales. Some of the deeper more advanced dives on the island for example there is Brennekes Ledge where the site goes all the way down to 100 ft of water. The site is packed with marine life like gray reef sharks, humpback whales, giant tuna just to name a few of the denizens in this particular dive site. This site is a very advanced site as the current can go from non existent to extremely rough. Another interesting site around the island is an area called Turtle Bluff, naturally as the name states you do see a good deal of turtles but there are other species such as as the Hawaiian Morwong and the white tip reef shark, just to name a few others. These two sites are only two of the many in Kaui.

Scuba diving is a fun recreational activity enjoyed by many. While there are many great places to dive on Oahu, only a few dive spots can truly be considered the best. Here are a few of the top places to dive on Oahu.

1. Shark’s Cove.

Located on the North Shore of Oahu, Shark’s Cove is a one-of-a-kind dive site. This famous dive site features large boulders, small caverns and crystal clear water. If possible, try diving this spot during the summer when the water is perfectly clear and the animals are plentiful.

2. Sea Tiger Wreck.

The Sea Tiger Wreck is currently the deepest, regularly dove wreck in all of Hawaii. Located on Oahu’s Town Side, this dive site is not only historic, but also very popular in Oahu. Divers can expect to witness turtles, hawk fish, crabs, white spotted eagle rays, scribbled file fish, large puffer fish and of course the wrecked smuggling vessel, or what remains of it.

3. Haleiwa Wall.

The Haleiwa Wall is located on the North Shore of Oahu, just outside of Haleiwa Harbor. The deepest spot reaches 90 feet! Unbeknownst to many people, this particular dive spot is heavily populated by sea turtles.
